Michele works primarily from a psychodynamic approach which incorporates aspects of attachment theory, narrative therapy and cognitive behavioral approaches. Through telling your own story and gaining insight into how our unique experiences have shaped us we can begin to make sense of our internal world. Together Michele will help you examine factors that affect feelings of self-worth and personal growth, developing deeper insights and learning new ways to overcome patterns and obstacles. Michele believes that together, you have a great ability to heal. Michele will help you create the meaningful life that you want to live through introspection and awareness of the multiple factors that contribute to our overall social and emotional health.
Michele enjoys deep exploration and the search for meaning, which is evolving, and embraces that change is an inherent part of the human experience. Through understanding our identities and growing in our own self-awareness we can better focus on life enhancing experiences.
Michele strives to create emotional safety by building a trusting relationship where work is done together as a team. She has a warm and empathetic approach and is passionate about providing holistic care that is personalized to each individual’s unique needs. Michele has experiencing working with a diverse background which includes neurodiversity, grief and loss, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, the LBGTQ community, and chronic trauma.
