  • Let's slow down for a moment. Feel the breath pass from your nose to your lungs, wiggle your fingers and toes, notice the tempo of your heartbeat. These are your tethers to the here-and-now.

Everyone who enters the therapy room is a person before they are a client, a parent, a child, an employee, and I am determined to help you connect with that humanness; when we are caught up in our roles, we can sometimes lose sight of ourselves, our creativity, what brings us joy, who we want to be. I believe everyone is capable of accessing their goodness, wholeness, and discovering how to meet their needs. I am here to see you in all phases and faces.

I use an integrative approach that starts with creating safety. Many times people enter therapy aware of their trauma and want to dive in. Before we can look at the hard stuff, we must take stock of our coping skills, create security in our environment, and establish a trusting therapeutic relationship. This can take anywhere from weeks to months, and there is no rush. Throughout this process, we will use a variety of talk, play, art, and sandtray to help you connect with your inner world.

I prioritize affirming and collaborative care. My own experience as a patient, client, and neurodivergent human fuels an intense passion for deconstructing harmful schemas, especially when it comes to mental health and wellbeing. I also continue to pursue training and education on what makes people feel seen in their identities and safe from the things that harm them. I do my best to make sure my clients do not have to educate me and can focus on their personal relationship with identity and society.
